Re-design of the TRC discussion Series promotional materials. Implemented “guest speaker promos”, as well as designing info-graphics, calendars, and social media posts
Expanding the Let’s Move! program from 16 weeks to 30 weeks.
Preparing a report and eventual grant for a community garden within the Heritage neighbourhood for spring 2021.

Administrative Assistant / Graphic Designer Sakewewak First Nations Artists’ collective, Regina Sk
Sakewewak Artists’ Collective is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to supporting and engaging Indigenous artists in the Regina area. As administrative assistant, I provide support to the Executive Director in both day to day office duties, and in planning and implementing long term strategies and commitments.
Responsibilities
Performing day to day administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, corresponding with contacts, answering emails, and general office upkeep
A large part of my job is also research as it pertains to grants, sponsorship and funding, as well as helping design and implement upcoming programming and community events.
Graphic design and brand management. Designing promotional material, updating website and social media accounts etc.
Projects
Assisting with creating the exhibition and events schedule for the next three years
Develop an inbound marketing strategy to drive an increase in memberships.
Cataloging and organizing the vast media archive available in the office.

Summer artist researcher, First Nations University of Canada, Regina Sk
Under supervision of Peter Brass and Lionel Peyachew, and reporting to the president’s office, I worked with a team of six other artists to collaborate on and produce 14 tipi liner paintings for a long term display on the FNUC property. We researched, collaborated, designed and painted the liners to tell the history of indigenous education in Canada. It was a wonderful learning experience that allowed me learn about history and heritage with some unique opportunities. It also allowed me to learn how to work on large scale projects; each tipi liner was 6ft x 58ft long.

I facilitate PaintNite events that introduce adults to fundamentals of painting in a fun and relaxed environment.
Responsibilities
I am responsible for teaching adults how to paint a pre-selected painting of the course of an evening, using simple step by step techniques.
Keeping new painters encouraged and entertained.
I also provide customers with an exceptional experience while helping them feel accomplished.
Achievements
I consistently average above 90% in my customer satisfaction feedback
I have done over 200 events.
I have taught classes from 10 – 100 people.
2016 - 2018 (on hiatus)
Art Instructor, Niel Balkwill civil arts center, Regina SK
Two-hour classes designed for 6 -10 years old. I develop a lesson plan for the eight weeks, and design and execute the projects to fit the day’s theme, usually two or three per class. Children are engaged and interested and learn about a variety of mediums, techniques, and art history.
2017
Workshop, Articulate Ink / Sakewewak, Regina SK
Developed and taught a two day summer printmaking workshop for teens. The workshop provided teens with an overview of printmaking techniques, while tying into themes of aboriginal art and culture. We hand cut lino blocks, and learned how to silk screen our own T-shirts, which were later sold to help benefit Sakewewak artist collective.
2017
After-school outreach programmer, City of Regina, Regina SK
Worked on a developing pilot program for at risk youth in Regina’s downtown North Central neighbourhood. The intent of the program was to provide a safe space for activities after class, for middle and high school aged students. Each week, I chose and set up a new activity for interested participants. We did watercolor painting, drawing, jewelry making, tie-dye t-shirts and more.

Demonstrated acrylic pouring techniques on a variety of mediums. We used acrylic paint and a special pouring medium to create boxes and canvas paintings.

Workshop, Sakewewak Artists Collective Inc., Regina SK
Hand built ceramic platters in a two day workshop for Adults. Run through Sakewewak, the group of adults learned hand building techniques and created their own textured slab platters the first class, and learned how to finish and glaze the piece in the second.
2015 – 2016
Art Instructor, 4cats Art Studio, Regina, SK
Taught classes for children ages 2-15, as well as leading team building and birthday parties for people of all ages. Painting, sculpting, pottery and mixed media in a class setting. I was also involved in a lot of studio prep, such as stretching and prepping canvas, cleaning, and organizing studio equipment. Administrative duties included scheduling clients, taking orders, registering students, settling accounts, client services, responding to emails, and doing inventory.
2014 – 2016
Art Instructor, Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery, Moose Jaw SK
Children’s art teacher for classes and workshops during summer and school breaks. Classes ran from four to fourteen students and were focused on different themes, such as clay and ceramics, masks of the world, and art history. Children from ages 6-17 took part, including some special needs classes. I developed and executed my own curriculum and schedule based on the needs and focus of the class.

Artist in Residence, MacKenzie Art Gallery, Regina SK
Working with students from various Regina school communities and three reserve schools as part of the gallery’s urban outreach program. This involved creating a lesson plan that was both appropriate for the time constraints, children’s skill level and theme of the gallery’s exhibiting artist, Jack Sures. I also lead a one day community workshop.

Supervisory position in The Last Spike restaurant. Assisted with cash and credit transactions, seating guests, booking reservations, directing wait and bussing staff, coordinating with supervisors and managers, organizing breaks and section planning and being the front of house representative for the restaurant.
